~ Two weeks later~
Everything had returned back to normal.
Though Rishita had turned her back to the Rathore's, she shared the same relationship with her maa-baba as in the past.
Ranveer had visited her so many times in this span.
Well, to talk about him, he was here beside Rishita for the past month, that she was in coma, but, Rishita herself had asked him to join back to his work.
Though he used to call her over and over.
Over this time, she was cordial with the Goenka's as well, though Aparna had her heart. That lady, was always there for her.
From looking after Ira to tending to Rishita's food and medicines, Aparna took great care.
But more than her, it was her son.
Aadheesh.
Aadheesh was always around, looking after everything.
Taking care of Rishita, Ira. Looking after the little little things.
Rishita sometimes wandered, how he was still keeping himself sane after all the tantrums and ruthlessness and rudeness that she was throwing over him.
But somewhere , everytime that he would set the bathtub ready for her, or get her snacks in between the hours, or keep her matching pair of socks ready for her early in the morning, or lay a kiss on her forehead after she acted to have fallen asleep made her heart skip a beat.
She was talking to him, but not totally. They were still formal with their conversations, however when they were with Ira, they acted totally normal.
As normal parents, as normal couple.
They both knew, in all this mess, Ira had already suffered and they didn't wanted to make it more, for the little one.
Aadheesh or for that matter, the Xander's had still not informed Rishita about Nishita and had not even mentioned anything related to thatย traumaticย day.
~In their room~
Aadheesh and Aparna were seated on the bed beside each other.
"Aadhi kya problem hai. Tuje Mumbai kyu nahi jana?
Alok was saying that the meeting is important and that your presence is needed toh kya issue hai phir? ", Aparna questioned.
" Maa.. Tara aur Ira.. I ", Aadheesh was finding it difficult to convey.
" Toh wahi toh mei keh rahi hu. Tu aur Rishi ja na.", Aparna repeated her suggestion.
"Par maa! "
"Tu hi keh raha tha na, tuje aur Rishi ko time spend karna hai sath mei. Toh.. "
"Par maa, Ira? She has school. I can't make her to miss her school.", Aadheesh stated.
" Par tu Ira ko kyu lekar jayega.. I'll take care of her here na. You don't have to worry about her. I'll be there for her. ", Aparna stated.
" Nahi ma.. I can't leave Ira l.. "
Just then the door opened to reveal Rishita.
"Dekh Rishi bhi aah gayi.
Rishi beta yaha aaja! ", Aparna called Rishita to take a seat beside her as she said, " Rishi.. Aadhi ka Mumbai jana jaroori hai. Aur mei isse akele nahi bhej sakti.
Yeh baar baar chakkar kha kar gir jata hai. Iron deficiency ho rahi hai isse shayad. ",Aparna said.
" Chakkar aah rahe hai? ", Rishita quickly asked in concern.
Aadheesh just gave a look to his mother, to which Aparna shrugged.
" Toh tu chali jayegi na iske sath, please! ", Aparna further requested.
" Par maa.. Ira.. ", Aadheesh was adamant.
" Ira ka khayal mei rakh lungi na Aadhi. ", Aparna further said, her tone laced with a bit if irritation, just at that moment, little Ira entered the room.
" Dekh Ira se hi puch lete hai.
Ira baccha, you are fine na, if maa- baba go out?", Aparna questioned as she gestured Ira.
Ira looked at her grandma, as she turned to her parents and replied, " Of course. "
"Ira baccha.. I won't be able to take you. "
" Offo,Baba!
Ha toh woh toh kaha na dadi ne, it's just you and mumma. ", Ira said in a offo tone.
" Par baccha.. It's not about a day or so.. It'll take nearly for about three - four days! ", Aadheesh said it out slowly.
" Three four days? ", Aparna squealed. Now, she was unaware of this. Aadheesh bit his lower lip as he shrugged his shoulders.
Rishita was confused with the drama in front of her.
" Ha ha.. Three four days,Of course. ", Aparna tried acting normal.
" It's totally fine, baba. Aur dadi hai na.. To take care of Ira. Right, Dadi? ",Ira questioned.
" Yes chidiya! ", Aparna hi- fied.
" Par sweetheart.. ", Rishita was saying but Ira pulled her as she said, " No Par's mumma.. Bohot packing karni hai.. Chalo chalo.. Chalo dadi.. ", little Ira pulled them both over.
As Ira walked Rishita and Aparna to the closet, she said in the midway, " Mumma mei abhi aayi! "
With that the little one ran to her father.
Coming in his embrace she said, "It's a date.. Huhhh? ", Aadheesh blushed hard as he realized his little one was teasing him.
" Aap jaha jaha jaoge waha se mere liye chocolates and pretty pretty clothes laane padenge. Okay? ", she put forth her conditions.
" Okay princess! ", he smiled genuinely as he kissed Ira's cheeks.
Ira ruffled his hair, as she came out of his embrace as rushed to help her mother with the packing.
("Aadhi.. What is the problem. Why you don't want to go to Mumbai?
Alok was saying that the meeting is important and that your presence is needed,so what is the issue? ")
(" That's what I am saying. You and Rishi, go na! ")
(" But maa! ")
(" You were saying na.. That you and Rishi should spend some time together. Then.. ")
(" But why will you take Ira with you... I'll take care of her here na. You don't have to worry about her. I'll be there for her.")
("See Rishi is here. Rishi, come sit here, child! ")
(" Rishi.. It's important for Aadhi to go to Mumbai, and I can't send him alone, as he faints now and then. I think he has Iron deficiency.
Anyways, will you go with him? ")
(" Faints? ")
(" You'll go with him na, please! ")
(" I'll take care of Ira, Aadhi! ")
(" Okay, let's ask Ira only, now! ")
(" That's what Dadi said, it's just you and mumma! ")
(" No but's mumma.. There's lot of packing to do..lets go..lets go Dadi! ")
(" Mumma, I'll be back! ")
(" From wherever you go.. You'll have to get me pretty pretty clothes and lots of chocolates, okay? ")
--------------------------------------------------------------
~Next day~
Aadheesh and Rishita boarded the flight which landed them in Mumbai.
It was nearly evening. The buzz of the city of dreams was on.
As they reached the hotel, Aadheesh did the check-in and took the keys from the receptionist.
Entering inside the room, Rishita was shocked.
She rushed to the balcony.
"Wow! A sea facing room. This is so amazing Mr. Goenka. ", Rishita squealed.
Aadheesh walked,to where she was standing with her open arms, soaking in the soft breeze.
His eyes shined as he saw her being a bit carefree in front of him.
He folded his arms across his chest as he watched her. Admired her.
After a while, Rishita sobered up. She turned to face Aadheesh who was lost.
She cleared her throat making him to come out of his trance.
"Uhmm.. Woh.. You need something?
I'll call for somethingย to eat? Uh? ", he asked as he was still a bit lost.
" Umm.. Tea? ", she asked.
" Okay! Just a minute! You freshen up by then. ", he said with a small smile as he called the management for the two cups of tea.
Since the journey was not a long one, neither of them were tired.
They had the cups of tea, being seated in the cozy balcony. The sound of the sea, the hue of colours across the seashore were mesmerizing their souls.
Aadheesh didn't fail to take glimpses of his Tara, the way her eyes were shining looking at the horizons, how her hair softly swayed across her face.
After a while, they rested in the room for a while.
~ Later~
It was time for dinner. Rishita was lying on the bed when Aadheesh said, " I'll ask for the dinner upstairs.. Or should we go down? "
"Upstairs please! ", Rishita replied lazily.
" Okay! ", he nodded.
After the dinner they both laid lazily, beside each other, staring at the ceiling.
" Are you trying to gain my forgiveness? ", Rishita asked breaking the silence.
Aadheesh turned to face her, as he took support of his one hand and raised his figure a bit.
" I don't know! ", he replied.
" You are! ", she said.
" Will you ever forgive me? ", he asked.
" I don't know. ", she replied still looking at the ceiling.
Aadheesh again stared at her figure.
After moments, he layed properly on the bed.
They both layed beside each other in silence till sleep engulfed them.
-------------------------------------------------------------
~Next day~
Both Rishita and Aadheesh woke up way too early. Their daily habit though.
As Rishita freshened up, she saw Aadheesh in the balcony, standing there.
She walked to him.
On sensing her presence, he softly asked, "Tara.. Woh.. Woh hum itni jaldi uth hi gaye hai toh.. Toh.. Matlab hum.. Hum Siddhivinayak mandir hokar aaye kya? ", he was manifesting a yes as he asked her that.
Rishita looked at his figure, her eyes didn't fail to see how he had twisted the fingers of his left hand.
She bit her lower lip, as she gave it a thought and said, " Okay. I'll take a bath then! ".
Aadheesh's eyes shined as he heard her, a big smile made way to his face.
As Rishita walked to the washroom, Aadheesh did his little dance.
Just then Rishita turned to face him. He haulted that very moment, his one hand above his shoulder level, which he quickly brought to scratch his neck
" Woh.. Traditionals na? ", he heard Rishita asked.
" Yes! ", he noded his head in affirmation.
(" Tara.. Now that we are up, so early.. So.. So.. I mean.. Let's.. Let's go to the Siddhivinayak temple? ")
~Later~
" You told me to wear traditionals and here you are in formals, Mr. Goenka! ", Rishita complained,as she was wearing her earrings.
" Arey, I got no traditionals here, Tara.
And nevertheless, we are complimenting each other see! ", he said as he came into the view in the full length mirror.
In that moment, they both looked at themselves in the mirror.
They were certainly complimenting each other perfectly.
Aadheesh wished it was a reality, where they were this perfect together as they appeared in the mirror.
He cleared his throat as he looked away.
After getting ready, they took the route to the temple.
After taking the offerings from the vendor, they stood in the queue.
The sun nearly came up, as they entered inside the glorious temple.
Seeking the blessings of Bappa, they surrendered themselves infornt of the Almighty.
"Meri Tara ne bohot kuch saha hai, aab bas usse khushiya dena.
Mei nahi janta, jo bhi mei kar raha hu, karne wala hu, woh sahi hai ya nahi.
Bas itna janta hu, I have hurted her a lot, Bappa.
Please, meri galtiyon ka prayisshit karne ka rasta dikhayiye mhuje. Please bappa.
Aur meri, Ira aur Tara ko hamesha khush rakhiyega, unko protect karyiyega. ", Aadheesh prayed with all his heart.
" Bappa. Meri Sweetheart, meri Ira ko humesha khush rakhna. Usse humesha protect karna.
Bappa..
Mei nahi janti mhuje kya karna chahiye. Dheesh.. Woh jo koshish kar raha hai, pichle ek mahine se.. Woh dikh rahi hai mhuje.
Sach kahu toh ab usse yeh berukhi rakhna bhi muskil ho raha hai.
Woh pighal raha hai mhuje.
Mhuje pata hai, he was trying in all these years, to prove me innocent. Par yeh bhi sach tha na, ki woh Nishita se shadi karne ke liye tayar ho gaya tha.
Par bappa, ab.. Inn ek- dedh mahine me, jaise woh mera khayal rakh raha hai, sab sambhal raha hai.
Bappa, it's hard to ignore the fact that he is really sorry.
Rasta dikhayiye bappa,
Kya mhuje Dheesh ko maaf karna chahiye ya phir nahi?
Nahi samaj aah raha. Please.. Please rasta dikhayiye, bappa! ", Rishita prayed.
As they were done, the head priest came to them with the prasad. He also blessed the couple and sprinkled the holy water on their head.
As Aadheesh and Rishita came out, it was nearly 11'clock.
Aadheesh could have used the VIP line, but he knew his Tara wouldn't have liked it, so he kept it simple.
As they came out, Aadheesh heard the grovel from Rishita's stomach.
He didn't fail too see the embarrassed face of Rishita, which made him chuckle lightly.
"Let's have something. I am way too hungry. ", he said, to which she nodded frantically.
They strolled around as Rishita's eyes went to the pav-bhaji stall.
As Aadheesh watched her he nodded in a no.
" Not pav- bhaji early in the morning, Tara.. No.. ", he said.
" Par.. Please na! ", she pouted, and hell, that man gave in.
" Mei sirf vada pav khaunga! ", he motioned.
" Your choice! ", she shrugged.
Rishita devoured the pav-bhaji as Aadheesh had the vada pav. Not to forget Aadheesh did give her the first bite.
He smiled as he saw her behaving like the foodie her, after quiet a long.
As they were done, Aadheesh swiftly wiped a bit of the bhaji that lined the corner of Rishita's mouth.
("My Tara suffered a lot, now just give her all the happiness. I don't know if what I am doing, whatever I am going to do, is right or not. But I know, I have hurted her a lot, Bappa.
Please, show me a way to repent for all my mistakes.ย Please bappa.
And keep my Ira and Tara happy, always. Protect them from all the obstacles.
Please, bappa! ")
(" Bappa. Keep my Sweetheart, my Ira, happy. Always. Protect her always.
Bappa.. I don't know what I should be doing. Dheesh.. He is trying.. From the past one month. I can see that.
Bappa, now, it's difficult to act distant from him. He is melting me.
Bappa, I don't have to tell you anything na? You already know everything.
Dheesh hurted me with his words, a lot many times. But only, he is the medicine to my pain.
Bappa, being with him.. Being his, feels like home. I know, he was trying in all these years, to prove me innocent. But..the other truth is, he also agreed to marry Nishita na?
But bappa, the way he is taking my care, handling everything from the past one- one and a half month.
Bappa, it's hard to ignore the fact that he is really sorry.
Show me a way, Bappa!
Should I forgive Dheesh Or not?
I am not able to understand anything.. Please.. Please show me a way, bappa! ")
(" I'll have a Vadapav! ")
After the breakfast, Aadheesh and Rishita were strolling around the streets.
It was moments when Aadheesh ears stood up to the sounds.
He turned to Rishita.
On sensing the gaze Rishita too turned to him as she raised her eyebrows asking what.
"Tara.. There's a wedding here, nearby, somewhere. ", he said.
" Ha toh? ", she asked being confused.
" Tara? ", a mischievous smile made way to his face.
" What? ", she was still not getting his clues.
" Tara.. ", he sang her name.
" Will you tell me what's cooking in your mind? ", she asked him sternly this time.
" Let's barge in the wedding! ", he exclaimed as the wedding procession came to their view.
" Yeah okay.. What? ", Rishita exclaimed back as she understood what she just spoke.
" Are you out of your mind? Log jante hai hume.", she argued.
"Kya hi fark padta hai.. Waise bhi.. Look we are dressed for the occasion. Come na Tara.. Maza ayega. ", Aadheesh coaxed.
" Kaal Sare news hubs mei photos chapenge. ", Rishita stated
"I'll handle that.
Imagine Tara, this will be so much fun! ", he conveyed.
" Par.. ", Rishita was saying but then her eyes went to the procession. It looked so lively, people dancing their hearts out, some highly energetic marathi songs being played at high volumes.
" Thik hai let's go! ", Rishita motioned. And that's all it took.
They both joined the procession, as they danced crazily infront of all.
Their hearts thumped as their bodies moved to the lyrics they understood nothing about.
It was weirdly crazy.
After the crazy dance they even dared to enter the wedding where nobody knew them.
They giggled hard all throughout.
Shouting out loudly, clapping wildly as the groom and the bride exchanged garlands and vows, they enjoyed the wedding.
They were acting as if they were the closet ones of the groom- bride, when in reality they didn't even knew their names.
As the food counters opened they barged there as well. Rishita and Aadheesh smirked as they filled their plates with the delicacies.
Rishita was shocked, the wedding menu had all her favourite food items, weirdly crazy again?
Nevertheless, she ate to her heart's content, so did Aadheesh.
After spending nearly two- three hours amongst the people they knew nothing about and having food to their hearts content, dancing as loudly as they never imagined themselves to, they finally escaped from there, before anyone could throw questions on them.
(""Are you out of your mind? People know us. ")
(" How does it even matter? Nevertheless... Look we are dressed for the occasion. Come na Tara.. It'll be fun! ")
(" Every news hubs will have our photos tomorrow! ")
(" Okay, let's go! ")
--------------------------------------------------------------
Rishita was walking beside Aadheesh. They came out, and walked a distance.
"It's was so fun. ", Rishita yelped.
" Indeed it was! ", Aadheesh too shared the excitement.
" They must have actually thought ki hum crazy hai. ", Rishita laughed.
" You know, ek uncle ne toh mhuje pucha bhi, ki from which side are you! ", Aadheesh recalled it.
" Toh what you said? ", Rishita showed her eagerness to know.
" I said ki dulhe ke.. Par he continued saying ki, 'Arey, hum bhi toh dulhe ke side se hi hai.',and I knew I was doomed, par phir, I changed my statement subtly ki.. Arey uncle.. Dulhe ke nahi, dulhan ki taraf se hu! ", as he said all of it to Rishita they both bursted out laughing.
" But seriously, everyone was giving us those judging looks! ", Aadheesh said in between his laughs
" No no no..they were all giving me those judging looks.
Tumhe toh woh.. ekdam.. What to say.
People were simping over you! ", Rishita stated raising her eyebrows in a teasing manner.
" What.. Kuch bhi! ", Aadheesh shrugged it off.
"Arey really.. You know.. Woh jo chammak challo auntyย thi na.... Who wore that shimmering saree.. ", she stated to which he payed utmost attention.
"I heard her telling her daughter, ki go talk to that guy.. As in you.. Aur woh badi der tak tumhe taad bhi rahi thi. ", she said, though in a casual manner, but did feel a bit of jealousy while stating it to him.
" Arey.. Kya yaar.. Ek beti ka baap hu mei! ", he said.
His statement, made her chuckle, as she watched him shake his head in a no, as they continued walking.
" Accha.. Where to now? ", she asked.
Aadheesh looked at her, as he smiled widely.
She herself asked him, that was enough to make him feel peace.
" Ummm.. Marine drive? ", he asked.
" Done. Ice cream bhi! ", she said.
"But we already had there.. Tara! ", he was ready withย a no.
But she looked at him sternly, widening her eyes, asking him to dare to challenge.
" Accha.. Okay.. Fine fine.. We'll have it there. ", he gave in.
Making her to smile widely.
" See it's so good when you stop being the old uncle and listen and obey to what I say. ", she said.
" I am ready to obey you for my entire life, Tara. ", he said in a soft voice, thinking that it won't be heard, but, she did hear it.
Aadheesh stopped an auto, as he asked, " Bhaiya, Marine drive? "
The driver gave him a skeptical look, but agreed nevertheless.
Settling inside, they routed towards the destination.
Aadheesh was looking at Rishita without blinking as Rishita looked at the scenic choas around.
The way her hair flew, the way she was looking around. It made a soft smile to adore Aadheesh's lips.
As they reached, Aadheesh payed the fare.
Rishita walked a distance, as Aadheesh got two cones of Ice cream.
They settled, away from the crowd as Aadheesh handled her the ice cream.
Devouring it, they watched the sea water, washing the foothills, the calm wind bringing peace.
Just then, as Rishita licked the icecream, she recalled, " You know, Mr. Goenka.. ",
As she got back to being the formal self, Aadheesh did feel bad.
But he nevertheless, gave her the attention, as she continued," Jab mei unn logo ke bich aise hi ghul mil rahi thi,.. I got to know ki.. Un logo ne ek din mei hi wedding ki location change ki.
As in the shadi was to happen somewhere else earlier, par phir they changed it to the current location.
Wierd na? ", she asked still indulging in her ice cream.
Aadheesh looked at her over the revelation as he gulped down but nevertheless, said, " Yeah.. Wierd. "
"Aise last moment pei kon location change karta hai. ", she cribed.
"Par thik hai na.. They did so, isiliye, we got to enjoy there. ", Aadheesh said looking at the horizon.
Rishita turned to face him, squinting her eyebrows.
But nevertheless what he said was right, so she agreed.
" Let's see the sunset here? ", she further asked after a brief period of silence.
Aadheesh forwarded the last chocolaty piece of his cone towards her, as she took it nonchantaly and ate it.
" Not today Tara.. Abhi let's go to the beach.. "He motioned.
" Abhi?
It's past 5:30..Abhi jana.. ", she was in a trance.
But heard him speak, " Ab aaj itna crazy ho gaya hai toh thoda aur hi sahi.. Let's go na! "
As they finally reached the shore, the way the waves were washing over made Rishita smile widely.
She was about to ran towards the serene sealine, but then she realised.
"Meine heels pehne hai. Shit! ", she muttered in disappointed, as her puppy face took over.
Aadheesh chuckled as he bended down,he removed his shoes first. Rishita stood with her puppy face, watching what he was doing. Then taking her aback, he softly asked her to raise her leg, letting her feet with the heels to rest of his thigh.
Her hands automatically took support of Aadheesh's shoulder, as she watched him in surprise with whatever he was up to. His entire attention over the work in hand. He looked handsome, undoubtedly.
He removed her heels as he softly made her wear his shoes.
"Ab ekdam thik hai! ", he said.
She felt something flutter in her heart as she gave him a small smile.
As Aadheesh stood up, he motioned her with his hands, that she could play with the waves now.
Rishita looked at her feet, the shoes were such a misfit for her small legs yet looked so good, probably because it was of her Dheesh.
She ran towards the water, her anarkali swirling in the rhythm of the air, as she tied her dupatta in a cross manner, across her chest.
Aadheesh looked at her admiringly, while he stood at a distance with her heels in his hands,he watched her as she played with the water. He removed his phone as he captured her.
"Kaise kahu! ", he talked to himself, as he ran his hand behind his neck.
Just then, she ran towards him.
" Dheesh.. I want to dance here. You'll record? ", she asked with big smile, her excitement touching the sky.
Aadheesh looked at her with surprise, he was so taken aback by her request.
" Of.. Of course. ", he said as a big smile broke over her face.
She removed those shoes as he started pulling out the graceful moves.
And Aadheesh forgot to blink. His loving gaze captured all her moves as did his phone's camera. His adoration filled eyes didn't leave her sight for even a mini-moment.
Later, Aadheesh and Rishita sat in the sand.
"It's crazy na.. Wearing a salwar suit and dancing at the beach. Insanity at its peak. ", Rishita exclaimed as she ate the warm corn.
" But it was soo fun. ", Aadheesh too said as he too devoured the spicy warm corn, in the calmness of the sea.
" Watching the sunset here, is more mesmerizing and more worth it than it would have been on the Marine drive. ", Rishita told him.
As she said those words, she was his lips curve into a smile.
They both watched the ball of fire settle and hide behind the blue waves, as the sky painted itself in shades of the pink pallette.
The serenity took over.
(" You know, one uncle even asked me, that, from which side are you! ")
(" I said that, from the groom's.. But he continued saying, 'Arey, we are also from the groom's side',and I knew I was doomed, but then, I changed my statement subtly that.. Arey uncle.. Not from thr groom's but from the bride's side!")
(" No no no..they were all giving me those judging looks.
For you.. They.... What to say.
People were simping over you! ")
("Arey really.. You know.. That chammak challo aunty .. Who wore that shimmering saree.. ")
("I heard her telling her daughter, that hotalk to that guy.. As in you.. And she was staring at you for so long! ")
(" Arey.. What yaar... I am father of a child now!")
("You know, Mr. Goenka!
When I was mingling in between the people there.. I got to know that they changed their wedding location in just a day.. As in the wedding was to happen somewhere else earlier.. But then theyย changed it to the current location.
Wierd na? ")
(" Who changes wedding location in the last moment! ")
(" Now? ")
(" Now that we have already done so much of crazy stuff.. Let's go na! ")
(" I have my heels on. Shit! ")
(" Now it's perfectly fine! ")
(" How to say it! ")
--------------------------------------------------------------
"The day was such an eventful one. ", Rishita said as she slumped into the bed.
" Indeed it was. ", Aadheesh too replied.
They had just returned, and were tired for sure.
" You freshen up, I'll call for dinner. ", Aadheesh said.
" I am so full already. I want nothing. ", Rishita said lazily.
" Arey par.. Okay fine.. I'll order forย soup. That'll be okay na? ", he said after giving it a thought.
" Umm.. Okay fine. ", Rishita too said.
He picked the telephone to do the necessary, while she got up lazily and walked to the washroom, to freshen up.
--------------------------------------------------------------
~Next day~
Aadheesh was ready in his crisp formal wear, as Rishita sat on the bed with her folded legs. With the remote in her hand. She was already bored thinking about the fact that she'll have to spend time alone, in the room.
" Tara.. I still think you should join me. Believe me, no one will have any issues over it. ", Aadheesh suggested her again.
" You'll get bored here. ", he further stated.
Rishita looked at him, hitting the remote lightly on her chin, as she said, " I think.. You are right.
Arghh.. I'll get ready. ", with that she squinted down and rushed to the washroom.
Aadheesh sat on the bed.
He checked his watch. He knew he'll surely be getting late, par did it matter.
No.
His Tara was accompanying him, and he was ready to wait, even if it takes an eternity.
After 20-30 minutes, Rishita came out. Dressed in a simple yellow- whiteย knee length dress.
"I am sorry.. Maine socha hi nahi ki tumhe late hoga.
I.. ", she was apologizing, when he walked to her.
Holding her by her shoulders, he turned her around to face the mirror as he said, his eyes looking directly into hers, through the mirror, " It's totally fine, Tara!
I informed the concerns. "
Rishita was lost. In him.
They looked so good together.
She gulped down the lump as she said,"Chalo, let's go! We are already late. "
"Arey aise kaise.. Ab now that you have picked out your earrings that goes with this dress.. Woh pehenni toh banti hai na? "
"Par.. Aur late ho jayega na! ", she said.
" Chalega! ", he reverted as he picked up one of the earring and softly made her wear that by his own hands.
Rishita just looked at his mirror image while he concentrated on making her wear the earrings.
("I am sorry.. I didn't think about it..that you'll be getting late..I.. ")
(" Arey.. Now that you have picked out your earrings that goes with this dress..we'll have to wear it na! ")
(" But.. We'll get more late. ")
(" Will work! ")
--------------------------------------------------------------
The meeting was done.
After that Rishita and Aadheesh had a brunch.
Walking out of the restaurant, Aadheesh said, " Tara.. There's this art gallery here nearby.. Chale kya? "
"Umm.. Okay! ", Rishita too affirmed.
They walked inside the exquisite art gallery.
They spend more than an hour, looking at the display of emotions in the means of variant colours.
Rishita looked at the paintings. It had been a long while, basically years that she visited any art gallery.
Aadheesh admired her, as she was lost admiring the paintings.
Just then they both haulted in front of a big frame that was attached to the wall.
"This is such a masterpiece. ", involuntarily, Rishita said as she stared at the painting that appeared to speak with the hues that made it look nothing less than a dreamscape. The way the colours and the shapes, the balance of light and shadow, the swirls of colours, were crafted on the canvas, it enchanted Rishita.
"Indeed, it's such a tapestry of delicateness and emotions all together. ", Aadheesh said.
" Ira will love it.! ", he further added.
As Rishita heard that she turned to look at him with squinted eyebrows.
Sensing her gaze, he too looked at her.
" Ira? ", she questioned.
" Yes.", he said.
"Mana Ira loves paintings and work of art way too much.. But.. But but.. Jo tum soch rahe ho.. We are not.. ", before she could complete, she heard it from Aadheesh, the thought that was going on in his mind, the one that Rishita could sense, " Let's buy it na, Tara.. She'll love it. Believe me. "
"Dheesh.. Its a masterpiece. It'll cost a hefty amount.
Aur abhi tak Ira ko paintings ke bare mei jyada kuch pata bhi nahi hai.. She just looks at them with excitement because she likes the colours on the canvases. ", Rishita said it out softly.
" But still Tara.. You know na.. The way her eyes shine, the way she gets lost in these all. Please na.. And nevertheless..this artist..its somehow intrigues Ira always", Aadheesh said.
"You won't back out na? ", Rishita said as her lips set in a tight line.
Aadheesh gave her a mischievous smile as he nodded his head in a no.
" Fine. It's a masterpiece after all. ", Rishita too said, as she turned to look at the painting again.
" Waise how do you know the artist? ", she questioned.
" Well.. I don't really know the artist.. Matlab.. I do.. But I don't. ", Aadheesh said in a confused tone.
Rishita turned to him, as she gave him a confused look and asked, " What? "
"Matlab.. On Ira's birthday.. I took her to the art gallery na.. Waha pei as well, she liked the only painting of this artist that was displayed there, way too much.
But since it was just a single painting, I couldn't get her more of this artist.
Toh baad mei, I did some research on this artist, to purchase more.. Par surprisingly, the artist is someone who's hidden from the eyes of the world.
And phir woh reh hi gaya.. I don't even know if whether the artist is a male or a female. But the name sounds like the person isย lady. ", Aadheesh said.
" You did so much of research, to get Ira more paintings?
Seriously.. You father-daughter duo are crazy. Like really crazy. ", Rishita said as she shook her head in disbelief.
" Waise what's the name of this artist? ", she further asked.
" Shurora", Aadheesh stated.
"Umm.. It's certainly a lady. ", Rishita said as she went back to the painting.
They spent the rest of the time adoring the paintings. Rishita loved it.
She always liked it back in the past, but over time the liking got shadowed with everything that happened.
But it felt good to return back to do the things that gave her happiness.
"And then you ask ki Ira ko art itna kyu pasand hai.
Kyuki uski mumma ko jo itna pasand hai. ", Aadheesh muttered to himself as he watched his Tara lost in the kaleidoscopes of emotions painted on the canvases.
As they finally came out, they realized it was evening.
While being inside the art gallery, they both didn't knew how the time flew.
" The Gateway of India! ", Rishita said.
And Aadheesh couldn't help but smile widely as they took their way towards the Gateway of India.
There was buzz around,as the usual flock of pigeons were at the site.
Rishita admired them, as she looked at Aadheesh and gave him a cryptic look.
Aadheeshย somewhere knew what she was up to. He was ready with his phone's camera, when he saw her rush in between the pigeons.
Within seconds the pigeons flew around, giving her the perfect main character feeling.
Aadheesh recorded and captured it all as she enjoyed her moment, wholeheartedly.
They spent the rest of the time, walking around, trying some street food, doing street shopping.
The little little things that melted Rishita's heart, the little little things that made her happy.
Later they also visited the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
The day came to an end with all the smiles and laughs, and the fun that they both shared.
("Agreed.Ira loves paintings and work of art way too much.. But.. But but.. Whatever you are thinking.. We are not.. ")
(" And at this point, Ira doesn't understand paintings much.... She just looks at them with excitement because she likes the colours on the canvases. ")
(" And then you ask why Ira is so much interested in art.
Because her mumma loves art way too much! ")
